WHO IS Jo and Co. Jewelers?
We started in 2004 under the name Haywood's Jewelers, Smith Mountain Lake. Since our start, we have had a passion for our Customers, Community, and Service.
The Team at Jo & Co. Jewelers is proud of the way we serve our customers. It is not our goal to work with you one time, sell you something and never see you again. The people who walk through our door become our friends. We share in occassion after occasion with our customers and look forward to each and every visit.
With our dedication to our customers, comes our dedication to our community. We are blessed to live in an amazing community, which has supported us in so many ways. We take our resposibility to give back very seriously. Whether its a monetary donation or rolling up our sleeves and helping hands on, we are all about it. Our Diamond Dig is a huge example of that. Through this annual event we have donated over $100,000 to charity organizations, including the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
Outside of this event, our commitment to giving back is year round. Rotary, Lions, Lake Christian Ministries, Smith Mountain Lake Good Neighbors, Children's Miracle Network, Compress and Shock Foundation, YMCA, CATS, Charity Home Tour, SML Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Agape Center are just a few of those we have helped and will continue to support.
Other than a great team and amazing customer service, our customers and community have come to rely on our outstanding quality and selection in fine jewelry, gemstones and diamonds. Our owner, Joanna Gruver, takes great pride in traveling domestically and internationally to seek out the latest trends and the finest quality jewelry. From fun to fancy, she has a great eye for fashion. She even goes so far as traveling to Antwerp, Belgium and Idar Obertein, Germany to hand select diamonds and gemstones for our clients. It is a true labor of love. While our store is not heavy in brands, due to our desire for unique pieces, we do carry designers such as Gabriel & Company, Vahan, Ania Haie, and Lola.
On top of our great selection, the team at Jo & Co. Jewelers offers many services at our Smith Mountain Lake store. Our professional custom design team is knowledgable and experinced to insure you receive the piece of your dreams. We offer on-site repairs, with a state of the art workshop on premises. Our jeweler, Bev., has over 40 years of experience and is extremely talented and detailed oriented. We take pride in delivering the pieces she repairs and creates.
