The vision for our store originated from a conversation between Joanna Gruver and Harold Ingram at Haywood's Jewelers in Rocky Mount. In 2004 this vision became a partnership between Joanna and Harold, thus Haywood's Jewelers, Smith Mountain Lake was established. Our community and those in surrounding areas welcomed us with open arms. From the beginning, Haywood's, Smith Mountain Lake, showed their dedication to providing quality products, a wide selection, exceptional service, and active involvement in our community. Our customer base expanded, as did our friendly and knowledgeable staff. By 2014, our store outgrew its original location and we expanded to a larger store in Westlake Towne Center. In 2022, after 19 wonderful years as partners, Joanna and Harold decided it was time that she continue as sole owner, and in 2023, Jo & Co. Jewelers was formed. The establishment of Jo &Co. Jewelers represents the culmination of Joanna and her team's passion, dedication, and drive. As Jo & Co. Jewelers move forward, it will continue to be a trusted destination for fine jewelry, building on the strong foundation established through the years.
